MADE FOR YOUR EVERYDAY

Good paving brings the garden together.

The route to a gate or the space beside your home deserves the same care as the garden’s main features. Plan the width, edges and finish around everyday use, then discuss the preparation needed for your particular ground.

01

Paths with purpose

Choose routes and widths around the places you actually need to reach.

02

A finish that fits

Discuss natural stone, porcelain or block paving with the team, taking appearance and upkeep into account.

03

Care at the edges

Consider transitions to lawns, borders and existing surfaces as part of the layout.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Your paving questions, answered.

Every site is different. These are starting points for a conversation about yours.

Is this the right page for a patio or driveway?

This page covers paths and general paved outdoor areas. For a dedicated seating space choose Patios; for parking and vehicle access choose Driveways. You can also correct the service in the enquiry form.

Which paving materials can I consider?

Ardent’s published paving page includes block paving, porcelain and natural stone. Suitability depends on use, site conditions and the proposed installation. Ask to compare options for your project.

Can existing paving be lifted and relaid?

Ardent’s published patio and paving page mentions excavating and relaying existing paving. The team will need to check the condition of the materials and base before recommending this.

How will rainwater be handled?

Levels, adjoining surfaces and where water can drain should be considered before laying paving. Ask the team to include the proposed approach in the scope.

What affects the quote?

Area, access, excavation, base preparation, material selection and edging all influence the price. Share the approximate size and photographs when you speak to Ardent.
